The beach life is very much part of island life, not so much the traditional sun bathing of beach resorts, but walking horse riding, sea swimming and all sorts of other water activities. The colour contrasts between the sea, sand, rocks and vegetation shimmer in the light and breeze. In our minds we see these things but the colours are far more diverse and intense than we usually give credit for.
