This abstract work was inspired by the tumbling of water in a small stream in Guernsey at Moulin Huet. Colours reflect off the surface as well as richly contrasting with the depths of the water. Monet’s many paintings of his lily pond highlight the tension between the surface of water and its depths. How we see that is very individual and by changing our mind set we can shift between one and the other.
