Fields Tapestry

Guernsey has traditional agriculture and horticulture, although that is being threatened by modern growing techniques. This tapestry is a celebration of tradition fields and the structures and stability they give to the landscape.

New Zealand wool and silk. It is hand knotted tapestry with the Aubusson style executed by Hines of Oxford. The tapestry has a hidden hanging system and is about 500,000 knots.
