Woods Tapestry

Although Guernsey lost many of its trees 70 years ago, there are still beautiful areas of trees that reflect the gentle naturalness of the island. This tapestry is based around the play of colours in one particular area of trees.

New Zealand wool and silk. It is hand knotted tapestry with the Aubusson style executed by Hines of Oxford. The tapestry has a hidden hanging system and is about 350,000 knots.
